FIREARMS / WEAPONS:
Imported firearms must be accompanied by valid firearm certificate
issued to the owner by the police authorities controlling the area
in which the owner intends to reside.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES / TOBACCO:
Subject to extremely high duty and tax, which can be as much as
200%, making importation inadvisable.
DUTIES:
If HHG/PE are more than six month's old, and owner has lived
outside the UK for at least 12 months, they may import duty free.
The goods must be retained for personal use by the owner for at
least 12 months.
VEHICLES:
Customs form C194A and proof of ownership required. duty free if
used and owned by shipper for more than 6 months prior to shipment
and
not sold before 1 year after.
